J. Gabriel Rodrigues is a music composer specialized in high production value Film and Game music.
Graduated from Film School at the University of São Paulo, J. Gabriel has studied thoroughly the connections between music and audiovisual narratives.
Later he started working as a film and game composer, writing the music for several projects in Canada, USA, Brazil and Slovenia, while also giving private classes of Digital Music Production and Music Theory.
Currently J. Gabriel is part of Gothic Storm, one of the main AAA trailer music labels in the world, and has his music featured in trailers from Mortal Engines and HBO’s Watchmen and True Detective.
Among his most interesting independent projects are the soundtrack for AKASHI -あかし- (JAP/CAN), film that won the Telus Storyhive Female Director Contest of 2016 and was finalist of NBCUniversal Short Film Fest in Los Angeles, as well as Multiverse Dating for Beginners (CAN), Destraçado (BRA), and the game Tinker Island (SLO).
